Seeking Beauty

By M. Sinclair

“It is a seeking and finding adventure when I notice Him in everything. Today, He met me in the park as a flock of birds waltzed overhead. I wonder where I will find Him tomorrow (from There Is Beauty Still).”

He was on the diamond-covered tall grass this morning. Even in the harshness of winter, He’s there making things beautiful in the glistening of ice on tall grass. He turns the very ordinary into something beautiful.

God is at work in our hearts and lives. Those areas that seem to have died in the harshness of winter are opportunities to see Him create beauty. We may have attempted to hide, discard, or just forget those areas; but God is there, ready to make us beautiful. We will find Him when we seek Him.

He has made so many aspects of SSD beautiful. He continues to take hard hearts, shame, and torment from those willing to surrender them. In place, He pours out love, honor, and deliverance. He reminds us that we are His; they are His; and being His is beautiful.
