Ambassador of Love & Hope

“What is an Ambassador of Love & Hope and why would I want to be one??” Maybe you are asking yourself this question as you see the promotion for our upcoming awareness event. 

One of the questions we are frequently asked at awareness events is “I’m not called to this as a career so what can I do? How can I help?” There are a variety of ways (reach out - we’d love to discuss them with you!) but this is a “next step” for those that want to be an agent of change in their sphere of influence. 

The Ambassador of Love & Hope takes you through our Human Trafficking 101 w/A Walk in Her Shoes simulation. After the foundational information, we provide roleplay scenarios and conversation starters that participants work through in small groups before coming back together as a large group to discuss. Everyone receives a folder filled with a variety of brochures and resources to be shared with others. And an official Ambassador of Love & Hope button!

Our goal is that each attendee will leave ready to have conversations about trafficking and exploitation with those they meet. They will be equipped with ways to respond to myths and stereotypes associated with the commercial sex industry. We hope that you will take the chance to become an Ambassador of Love & Hope with She’s Somebody’s Daughter and expand the community of love and hope that honors women.
